What could make for a better photoshoot than the cutest cousins and their families having fun morning @ Dayspring Animal Farm?
What a thoughtful idea…this darling, tiny bub’s aunt who lives in Canada gifted his momma with a photoshoot for her baby shower. Mom and dad have precious memories to cherish of him as a tiny newborn and as a bonus his aunt, who couldn’t be here herself to meet her nephew when he arrived, can ooh and ahh over him from across the world.

It’s such a privilege to photograph families through the years and watch as their children change and grow. It makes me feel like I am a part of their family in a small way.
We decided on the Raphia palms in Mtunzini for this shoot and spent most of the time running after Saige fearlessly speeding through the forest, exploring interesting holes in trees and collecting Raphia palm seeds. Once she’d powered down I captured some sweet moments of her with mom and dad.
